Front Top Assembly: With right sides facing, pin the upper part of the front at the neckline and under the armpits.

Insert the straps between the two layers of the front and sew. Turn the top right side out.

Back Top Assembly: With right sides facing, pin the upper part of the back at the neckline.
Insert the straps between the two layers of the back and sew. Turn the top right side out.

Joining Front and Back: With right sides facing, pin the back to the front at the sides, overlapping the back between the two layers of the front. Pin and sew, then turn the top right side out.

Cut a piece of elastic 8 cm (3.14 in) long.
Pin the elastic between the two layers of the top in the middle.
Pulling the elastic, sew it to the middle of the top to create ruching.
